DISRUPTION
OPPORTUNITY

TWENTY YEARS AGO IT HAPPENED IN THE WINE INDUSTRY. TODAY, IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN WITH SINGLE MALT WHISKEY.

First – The Wine Disruption

Twenty-five years ago, there was a major disruption in the wine industry when New World wines (U.S., Australia, Canada, South America) overtook Old World wines (France, Italy, Germany, Spain) in consumer popularity.

The result was New World wines won top place in the minds of consumers. History is set to repeat itself in the Whiskey market.

IronHorse is positioning itself to be a leader in this space by bringing innovative and distinguished Canadian spirits to the world stage.

Now – The Whiskey Disruption

Why do we send our grain overseas – only to buy it back in a bottle?

Every second, 41 bottles of Scotch whisky are shipped from Scotland to one of 175 markets around the world – with a high percentage of Canadian grain being used in the process.

Locally sourced grains and pure mineral-rich glacier water are used to make IronHorse Ventures Canadian Craft Spirits.

With a high level of demand for more quality products from Canada, IronHorse sees opportunity to explore exporting our beverages.
